At SBC we offer courses in a block-schedule system. This allows students more flexibility in coordinating their studies with work schedules.
Courses are taken over fifteen weeks, one day per week in a three-hour block. Full-time students have classes in five blocks per week, while part-time students come only once a week for each course they take.
Since an increasing number of students are combining work and studies, this scheduling gives full-time students larger blocks of time for part-time employment. The advantage for part-time students is that they need only one block per week away from their work schedule to take a course.
One Credit Course Options

One credit course options are offered each year at SBC on top of the regular 3 credit courses. A number of these courses are taught on the weekend (Thursday-Saturday) in order to offer training to the churches in our community. Others are offered on a weekly bases throughout the semester or year and include our music and drama options.
Exam Schedule

Exams are typically run Tuesday - Friday during the last week of classes in each semester.

Occassional Students
- students registering for up to 3 courses - daytime, evening, or weekend.
Full Time & Part Time Students
- Accepted students registering for more than 3 courses.

- Residence Tenancy Form (all dorm students, please submit)
- EMC Bursary (for students from an EMC church)
- Fitness Room Sign-Up AND Warranty & Release Form (complete both forms)
