MissionX - North
SBC's Mission X North includes 8-days of hands-on experience for second-year students which follows the first 1 ½ weeks of preparation in an Evangelism or Introduction to Mission course. With prayer support in place, students travel to Northern Manitoba for a brief orientation with Continental Mission staff before going to a First nation community in groups of 2-4 students. While there, they learn to serve alongside native believers, visiting in homes, running children's programs, singing or sharing testimonies on radio or TV, and playing with children in their community. Outside their comfort zone, students learn to trust God to give them wisdom and strength as they learn to minister in another culture.
