Building for the Future
The second semester is quickly coming to a conclusion. It has been a busy, but amazing year of planning and celebrating our 75th Anniversary. If I could sum up this year in one word, it would be "building". Allow me to explain what I mean.
Every year the faculty and staff at SBC commit to doing our very best to equip servant leaders for church ministry. In essence, we are building young lives into servant leaders. My two favorite times of the year are registration day and graduation day. At registration day I see the new students who are young, immature, and full of potential. At graduation I see students who have matured, are better equipped for ministry, and are ready to serve.
This past year of celebrating our 75th anniversary has been a time to renew our relationships with past faculty and staff and former students. We have been intentional in building relationships with those people who have had a profound impact on SBC. It has been very encouraging to see "old" friends and hear the rich stories from the past.

We are also in the middle of building a second dorm. Our on-campus student numbers have grown and we have realized the need to add to our current facilities. I have been blessed by the strong support for this project. To date, you have contributed $1,155,000 towards this $1,500,000 project.
We are currently raising $110,000 to furnish the new dorm. It will cost about $2300 per student to give them a bed, mattress, dresser, desk and chair. I want to challenge you to consider making a donation to help furnish the new dorm. With your help, we can make this dream a reality. I also want to thank you in advance for your continued prayers and financial support.
Blessings,
Dr. Rob Reimer
