Enrollment on the Increase

The college has seen a significant increase in  enrollment this year. Our on-campus enrollment stands at a strong 124 students, which demonstrates a 12% increase over last year's number. In addition to the students on campus 25 more students are being taught through Winkler Bible Camp's Cross Current program.

The reasons for this growth are difficult to determine precisely; however, several factors seem to be contributing to the increased enrollment. During the past couple of years, SBC has deliberately focused on connecting with the churches that support the college. This has begun to pay off as the percentage of the student population from the three conferences has risen from 57% last year to 66% this year. Another reason that points to the growth has been our determined efforts to expand and improve our on campus housing. This year we have 73 students living in dorm which is a 20% gain from last year.
