Highlights of All College Retreat

Canoe race

The all college retreat held annually at Red Rock Bible Camp has come and gone and the students, staff and faculty are back into the routine of classes and assignments. Yet the tone of that routine has been altered by a student body that has played together and prayed together.

Every year, three weeks into the college year the entire student body, staff and faculty gather together for a time of inspiration and fellowship. There are traditions that are carried on year after year. A few of these traditions are the hike to Echo Rock on Friday night, the grand canoe race, and the Saturday afternoon hike to Pine Point Rapids. These traditions developed over the past 22 years are carried on because of the relationships that been forged through these shared experiences.Willy Wall

This year was significant in the number of people that attended and in the tone of the retreat. 125 students, staff and faculty attended making it one of the biggest retreats on record. The chapel was packed for each session. During the fireside time on Saturday night, it was remarkable how many students shared stories of God providing for them spiritually, emotionally, and financially. Stories were told of how God had provided strength during ministry throughout the summer, and how God had directed people to attend Steinbach Bible College. New Creation

During the main sessions on Saturday and Sunday morning, students shared stories, sang praises to God and were challenged by the Word of God. We trust, once again, that God will continue to add to these stories and demonstrate His ongoing faithfulness to His people.
