New Staff a Welcome Boost to Ministry Training at SBC
It is not only students who come, learn, and leave to minister. There are usually staff changes each year. This year we have four new staff members joining the SBC family.
Rob Reimer sees his role of SBC president as an opportunity to equip leaders for ministry. This has been a growing passion for him. He left his previous ministry as senior pastor of Highland MB church in Calgary. He also pastored a church in Kansas, and directed Winkler Bible Camp. He is completing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Fuller Theological Seminary. What does Rob like about his responsibilities at SBC? "I enjoy leading an amazing team of dedicated and skilled faculty and staff who are passionately committed to equipping leaders for ministry."
Dave Reimer has joind the faculty, and attributes his student days at SBC for developing spiritual foundations and minsitry training. "I've been working for SBC ever since, as a board member, an unofficial recruiter, and a part-time teacher." Dave went on to obtain his M.Div. and pastored Callsbeck Fellowship Chapel in Winnipeg. He is passionate about seeing churches effectively bringing people to Jesus, therby changing the world. Regarding his previous part-time teaching, Dave says, "I love seeing the lights come on in the classroom," as students gain new insights. He loves to mentor students who are listening for the call of God on their lives, "becuase so often I see parts of my story in theirs."
Chrystie Kroeker Boggs joind the SBC team as Library Technician.
