SBC Welcomes Hali Reimer

Steinbach Bible College is pleased to announce the appointment of Hali Reimer as faculty in counselling and ministry studies, effective August 1, 2012.

Hali brings a unique blend of experiences in counselling and drama to the college. This coming year, she will be teaching Crisis Counselling, Educational Psychology, and Art of Persuasion. Hali will be mentoring students and leading New Creation, a college drama team.

While serving as adjunct instructor at SBC, Hali worked as a counsellor/advocate in Southeastern Manitoba. She received a BA in Social Sciences and MA in Biblical Counselling from Providence College and Seminary.

Hali says, "There are many things I look forward to in the coming years at SBC - from mentoring our female students in becoming strong women of faith and leaders in whatever capacity God has intended for them, to developing the counselling program so future pastors can better shepherd their flocks, to teaching counselling skills to all students eager to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a world desperate for His touch. I am also very thrilled to put my drama and theatre training back to good use in leading New Creation! I believe that God has many wonderful and exciting plans in store!

SBC offers 3 and 4 year BA degrees, a diploma, and certificate with focus areas in Bible-Theology, Children's Ministry, Global Mission, Peer Counselling, Pastoral Ministry, Worship Arts, and Youth Ministry.
